Configuring Outlook / Outlook Express
Open up Outlook and click on "Tools" then "Accounts"
Click on the "Add" tab and select "Mail".
Type in your display name and click "next"
It should ask you for your email address type in full email address and click "next"
Incoming mail server should be set to "POP3"
Incoming mail server: type in your mail.domainame.com.au
Outgoing mail server: same as your Internet Service Provider
Account Name: type in the whole email address. (example: if your email address is "xyz@yourdomain.com.au" type in the whole email address "xyz@yourdomain.com.au" )
Password: Type in the password that has been set for you.
Log on using Secure Password Authentication: leave this box unchecked, if you check this it will not work.
Click "Next" and then "Finish"
Now from the Accounts List highlight the account that you have just setup (click on it) and select "Properties" from the right hand side.
In the General Tab add in the missing details and change the Mail Account name to a name that you wish. Be sure to add in a reply email address.
Select the servers tab and check that everything is setup properly.
